Cucumber salad with apple and dill

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g cucumber(s)
  • Salt
  • 1 apple, sour
  • 2 shallots
  • 5 tbsp lime juice
  • 3 tbsp honey, liquid
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • pepper, black
  • 1 bunch of dill

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Wash the cucumbers and slice them very thinly. Lightly salt them in a fine sieve and let them stand for 10 minutes. Peel the apple, if desired, and grate the flesh from the core using a box grater. Peel the shallots and dice them very finely. Mix the lime juice with the honey, oil, and shallots. Add the cucumbers and apple to the vinaigrette and season with salt and pepper. Finally, finely chop the dill and mix it into the salad.
