Cucumber apple salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 2 apples, sweet – sour
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp vinegar (apple cider vinegar)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

quickly prepared

Peel and halve the cucumber. Scoop out the seeds with a spoon and slice each half thinly. Peel, core, and quarter the apples. Cut into slices similar in size to the cucumber. In a bowl, mix the oil, vinegar, pepper, salt, and sugar well, and season with lemon juice, if desired. Then fold in the cucumber/apple mixture and refrigerate for at least one hour until ready to serve. Tastes great with spicy dishes and anything grilled.
