Cucumber Sweet and Sour & with Pleasant Spiciness

The perfect cucumber sweet and sour & with pleasant spiciness recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Pc. Cucumbers fresh-small 8-10cm
  • 2 tsp Cucumber spice
  • 3 Pc. Bay leaf
  • 1 Pc. Chilli pepper
  • 300 ml Water
  • 170 g Sugar
  • 50 ml Vinegar essence
  • 1 tsp Yellow mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp Black peppercorns
  • 250 ml White wine
  1. First harvest of cucumbers from your own garden (kept in a huge flower pot). Harvested, washed and sliced. Put down a saucepan with all the ingredients except the cucumber slices and bring to the boil. Add the cucumber slices and let them steep for a moment.
  2. Put a few slices of the cucumber in each glass, briefly bring the stock to the boil again and fill up the glasses with it. Close it and turn it upside down. but at least 10 minutes can also be 20. Since it should be a supply for the darker days, I also put it in a dark corner and tried it for the first time today. I find them super tasty, sweet / sour but with a pleasant spiciness. Just my taste. Maybe yours too.
