Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g cucumber(s), organic
- 100 ml water
- 100 g sugar
- 2 mint leaves or 3 leaves
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Beverage syrup for lemonades and cocktails
Wash and grate the cucumber. Bring the water and sugar to a boil while stirring, allowing the sugar to dissolve completely. Add the cucumber and bring to a boil again. Remove from the heat, add the mint, and let cool. Strain through a cheesecloth and collect the liquid in a saucepan. Squeeze the cucumber mixture well. Bring the syrup to a boil again and pour it into a screw-top bottle while still hot. Makes approximately 250 ml of syrup.
