Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g sugar
  • 200 ml water
  • 2 sprig(s) rosemary, approx. 5 g

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Bring the water and sugar to a boil while stirring. The sugar should be completely dissolved. Remove the pot from the heat, add the rosemary sprigs, and let it steep for at least 1 hour. Remove the rosemary, bring the syrup back to a boil, and pour it into a clean screw-top bottle while still hot. Store in the refrigerator. The syrup is suitable for drinks such as lemonades and cocktails, but also for flavoring desserts, for example.
