Curd dumplings on fruit puree

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g quark (low-fat curds)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ tbsp semolina (wheat semolina)
  • ½ tbsp Flour, strong
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 12 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 200 g strawberries, strained
  • Sweetener, for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 day 6 hours; Total time approx. 1 day 6 hours 20 minutes

Combine the curd cheese with salt, semolina, and 1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs and let rest for 1/2 hour. Stir in the flour and egg. Using a teaspoon, form 12 small dumplings and let them simmer in boiling salted water for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, toast the remaining breadcrumbs in a non-stick pan. Stir the sugar into the crumbs and roll the finished dumplings in it. Serve with the crushed strawberries.
