Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 7 tbsp ketchup
  • 100 g currants, also frozen
  • ½ tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 2 allspice berries, ground
  • 1 pinch(s) of cayenne pepper
  • n. B. Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

with meat, fondue, cheese, etc.

First, thaw frozen currants. Finely dice the onions and garlic. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the onions and garlic. Then add the tomato paste and currants and roast them. Add the honey, white wine vinegar, and soy sauce and mix well. Remove from the heat and stir in the spices and ketchup. Season with salt if desired. Goes well with meat, fondue, raclette, or cheese.
