Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 ml water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 small onion(s)
- 250 g basmati rice
- 30 g butter
- 2 tsp curry
- 50 g almond(s), peeled and ground
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Bring the water to a boil with the salt and finely chopped onion. Wash the rice thoroughly beforehand and add it to the boiling water. Bring to a boil and cook over low heat until softened. Melt the butter, stir in the curry powder and the peeled and ground almonds, and stir in the rice.
