Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 ml ketchup, mild
- 100 ml apple juice
- 2 tbsp curry
- Spice mix (Tandoori)
- some cayenne pepper
- salt and pepper
- 5 mustard seeds
- 1 star anise
- 4 sausages (curry sausages)
Instructions
Working time approx. 2 minutes; Total time approx. 2 minutes
Brown the sausage before or during the sauce preparation. Put a pan on the heat, coarsely grind the mustard seeds and star anise, and heat them with the ketchup until thoroughly heated, stirring thoroughly. Add the apple juice. Bring to a boil, season with the remaining spices, and strain through a sieve, ideally while hot, directly onto the sausage.
