Dad's potato salad

Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 2 ½ kg jacket potatoes, waxy
  • 1 jar gherkins (Spreewald)
  • 1 ring/s of meat sausage
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 jar Miracle Whip
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 10 eggs, hard-boiled

Instructions

Working time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

While still warm, dice the boiled potatoes and stir in 5 tablespoons of cucumber juice. Then dice the eggs and cucumbers and stir in. Add pepper, mustard, sausage, and a jar of Miracle Whip and stir in. If there’s too much liquid, you can thicken it with hard-boiled eggs; if necessary, mash a boiled potato and stir in. Do not refrigerate for too long; it tastes best unrefrigerated.
