Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 750 daisies, only the flowers
  • 1 liter of water
  • 2 lemon slices, organic
  • 1 kg gelling sugar, 1:1
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 14 minutes

Place the daisy blossoms, the two lemon slices, and the split vanilla pod in a saucepan, pour over one liter of water, and let it cover, if possible, in a cool place for at least 24 hours. The next day, strain everything through a sieve and collect the liquid. Bring the daisy mixture and the preserving sugar to a boil and cook according to the package instructions. Be sure to test for settling. Immediately pour into jars and seal.
