Dandelion Blossom Honey
The perfect dandelion blossom honey recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
(Makes: 3 – 4 glasses of 200 – 300 ml)
- 200 piece Dandelion blossoms (approx. 200 g)
- 1 Lemon
- 1250 ml Water
- 1 kg Sugar
- 4 Glasses
- Cut 200 pieces of dandelion flowers just below the flower, wash them well through a sieve, simmer / boil in water with the juice of one lemon and the squeezed, cut lemon for about 15 minutes, leave to stand overnight and then pass through a very fine sieve (alternatively kitchen towel ) pour off. Add sugar (1 kg) and simmer / cook for about 1 hour. Fill into jars, close and label if necessary. The dandelion blossom honey is suitable, among other things. very good for coughs.
