Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g green beans
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 herring fillets
  • 200 g boiled, peeled potatoes
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • ½ lemon(s), juice
  • some pepper
  • little salt
  • some sugar
  • ½ bunch parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 2 hours

with fish

Thread, wash, and break the beans. Add them to boiling water. Add salt and butter and cook for 20 minutes. Let cool in a sieve. Cut the herring fillets and boiled potatoes into equal pieces. Finely chop the peeled onion and mix everything. For the marinade, mix the mayonnaise with yogurt, lemon juice, pepper, salt, and sugar. Pour over the salad and let it stand for 60 minutes. Season to taste. Serve sprinkled with washed, chopped parsley.
