Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 550 g wheat flour
  • ½ cube of fresh yeast
  • 300 ml dark beer
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

for a 1.5 l baking pan

Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Dissolve the yeast in a little warm water. Mix all ingredients and knead thoroughly. Pour the dough into a 1.5-liter bread pan and place it on the middle rack of the preheated oven. Place a bowl of water on the bottom of the oven. Optional: If you like, you can brush the dough in the pan with a little salt water beforehand. Bake the bread for about 1 hour. The dough will rise during this time, so it doesn’t need to rest beforehand.
