Dates filled with chili marzipan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 large dates, dried
  • 60 g marzipan – raw mass
  • 4 slice(s) Parma ham, or Serrano-
  • ½ tsp chili flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Knead the marzipan with the chili flakes thoroughly and then shape into a roll. Pit the dates and fill them with the marzipan. Halve the ham slices. Wrap each filled date in a half slice of ham and secure with a wooden skewer. Let the dates marinate in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
