Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 g ground almonds
- 100 g powdered sugar, possibly up to 200 g
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar or
- 3 drops of flavoring (vanilla flavoring)
- 3 drops of bitter almond flavor
- 2 cl water or rose or orange water
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder, instant or
- 2 tbsp cocoa
- 1 tbsp glucose or powdered sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar

Mix the almonds with the powdered sugar. Add the flavorings and water. It’s best to mix thoroughly with a “magic wand” on high speed and test. Tip: If it’s too dry, carefully add water. Let the marzipan mixture steep. The flavors will only fully develop and blend after about 12 hours. Pour instant cocoa powder directly onto a plate, or mix the cocoa, glucose or powdered sugar, and vanilla sugar beforehand. Form the marzipan into finger- to thumb-thick balls and roll them in the flour.
