Delicious Nut Wedges
The perfect delicious nut wedges recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the dough:
- 150 gr Flour
- 0,5 tsp Baking powder
- 65 gr Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 Egg
- 65 gr Cold margarine
- 2 tbsp Apricot jam
For covering:
- 100 gr Margarine
- 100 gr Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 2 tbsp Water
- 100 gr Ground hazelnuts
- 100 gr Chopped hazelnuts
- 50 gr Dark chocolate couverture
- Mix flour with baking powder and shape into a mound. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar and the egg to this. Process with part of the flour into a thick paste. Put margarine in flakes on the porridge, cover with flour and knead everything into a smooth dough.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle about 32×24 cm on a greased baking sheet. Brush with apricot jam. Heat margarine, sugar and vanilla sugar with 2 tablespoons of water in a saucepan. Stir in hazelnuts, bring to the boil briefly and let cool down a little. Distribute evenly on the dough. Bake in the preheated oven at 175-200 ° C top / bottom heat for about 20-30 minutes. Let cool down and cut into squares, then divide them into triangles again.
- Heat the couverture in a small saucepan in a water bath and stir to a smooth mass. Brush (or dunk) a corner with it.
