Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 125 g flour
- 1 tsp, leveled baking powder
- 1 egg(s)
- 60 g sugar
- 1 tbsp rum
- 90 g butter, cut into flakes
- 130 g oat flakes
- 30 g chocolate shavings
- some milk, for brushing
- some chocolate coating (approx. 40 g)
- Flour for the work surface
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
enough for approx. 35 pieces
Mix the flour and baking powder, sift it onto a work surface, and make a well in the middle. Crack in the egg. Sprinkle the sugar over it and drizzle with rum. Place the butter, cut into pieces, on top. Add the oats and chocolate shavings. Quickly knead the ingredients with floured hands, working from the outside inwards, until you have a smooth dough. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of about 1 to 1.5 cm. Cut out half-moons and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush with milk. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for about 12 to 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack. Melt the chocolate coating in a water bath and dip the moons into the melted chocolate using a tip. Let dry.
