Delicious strawberry yogurt cream

Spread the love

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 125 g strawberries, hulled
  • 60 g sugar
  • 175 g yogurt
  • 5 sheets of gelatin
  • 125 g cream, whipped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 15 minutes

Very simple recipe for a great cream!

Soak the gelatine in cold water for about 10 minutes, then squeeze out the excess water and liquefy it over a bain-marie. In the meantime, puree the strawberries with sugar and yogurt. Stir a little fruit puree into the melted gelatine to reduce the risk of gelatine strands in the cream later. Now stir the gelatine into the cream. Immediately fold in the whipped cream and pour the cream into small molds. Chill for about 3-4 hours, and the cream is ready. P.S. You can vary this cream with all kinds of fruit (e.g., raspberries, honeydew melon, mango, etc.). Just don’t use kiwi or lemon, as these fruits have too high an acid content and the cream won’t set.
