Dessert: Apple and Amaretto Ice Cream with Caramel Sauce and Zimbuchtel

Ingredients
 

  • 150 g Apple wedges
  • 2 tablespoon Raw cane sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped hazelnuts
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 2 piece Eggs
  • 40 g Raw cane sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 400 g Sour cream
  • 50 g Crush Amarettini almond biscuits
  • 2 tablespoon Amaretto
  • 2 piece Cinnamon balls
  • 8 tablespoon Caramel sauce

Instructions
 

  • Bring the apple wedges to the boil with sugar and mix with a tablespoon of chopped hazelnuts and the cinnamon. Cooling down.
  • Separate eggs. Mix the egg yolks, vanilla sugar and raw cane sugar with a hand mixer until creamy.
  • Beat the egg whites very stiff and add the crumbled Amarettini biscuits.
  • Add the amaretto, egg white with biscuits and sour cream to the egg yolk cream and mix everything carefully.
  • Fill into a suitable container and put it in the freezer. Stir once after two and four hours.
  • Let thaw for about 30 minutes before serving.
  • Together with the caramel sauce: Caramel sauce and baking with half a Buchtel: serve a piece of ice cream with an apple filling and a piece of ice cream on a dessert plate.
