my favorite food in the Maldives
Mix 1 teaspoon of soy sauce with 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, vinegar, and salt with the fish pieces and let it simmer for 30 minutes. Heat the oil in a deep pot and fry the fish until golden brown. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan, add the onions and pepperoni, and fry until the onions are lightly browned. Add the tomatoes, peppers, and fish. Add the tomato sauce and the remaining pepper and cook over low heat for about 5 minutes. Add the remaining soy sauce and cook for another minute. Tastes delicious with fried rice or Asian noodles.
