Quark-oil dough without eggs, also easy for children to make!
Sift the flour with the baking powder. Mix the quark, milk, oil, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, and cinnamon thoroughly. Stir in half of the flour-baking powder mixture, then knead in the other half. Roughly dice the dried fruit and knead it into the dough along with the chopped nuts. Pour the dough into a greased loaf pan and bake at 175°C (convection oven) for 40 minutes. It tastes especially delicious warm, brushed with butter! A cup of hot chocolate or punch makes it perfect. A really quick and easy recipe that kids can help with; my eldest always loves chopping the dried fruit!
