Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 cup raisins
- ½ cup dates, sliced
- 1 cup water
- 2 eggs
- 90 g margarine
- 3 tsp honey
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Combine raisins, dates, and water in a saucepan, boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Let cool. Whisk together eggs, margarine, honey, and vanilla until creamy. Sift together cinnamon, flour, and baking soda. Add the dry ingredients to the cream, alternating with the date mixture. Beat well, then chill for a few hours. Drop teaspoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 175°C for 10-12 minutes.
