Different Puff Pastry Sticks
The perfect different puff pastry sticks recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
with anchovies and herbs
- 250 g Bought puff pastry
- 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tbsp Herbs, lemon thyme,
- Oregano, sage, rosemary
- 2 Pc. Clove of garlic
- 6 Pc. Anchovies in oil
with Schabziger
- 250 g Puff pastry
- 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Stöckli Schabziger cheese
- 1 Pc. Egg yolk
- 2 tsp Milk
with anchovies and herbs:
- Drain the anchovies in a small colander, pat dry with kitchen paper, chop very finely. Wash the herbs, spin dry, chop very finely, mix with the anchovies. Roll out the dough to about 2 mm thick, apply olive oil with a patisserie brush. Brush half with the herb mixture, cover with the other half and press lightly. Dilute the egg yolks with milk and brush the dough with it. Cut approx. 1 cm wide strips. Do not place too close together on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Cold spots
with Schabziger cheese:
- Roll out the dough to about 2 mm thick, apply olive oil with a patisserie brush. Rub the Schabziger cheese over it, making sure it is even. Cut strips as before but this time we make screws. Brush them with egg yolk and put them in a cool place.
To bake :
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C, bake the sticks for approx. 15 minutes. Do not open the door to preserve the baking process. Only afterwards switch off the oven and open the door ajar. Let the sticks dry for about 10 minutes.
