Ingredients

  • 2 pack Puff pastry fresh from the refrigerated counter
  • 250 g Seranoschiknken wafer-thin cut
  • 100 g Parmesan

Instructions

  • 1 Roll out a layer of puff pastry.
  • First sprinkle these with Parmesan cheese and then cover them closely with Serano ham. (You could certainly try it with another spicy country ham).
  • Now sprinkle well with Parmesan cheese. The freshly grated Parmesan cheese is a better variant than the one that has already been bought. I've tried both and I would only make it with homemade grated.
  • Now roll out the second layer of puff pastry and place it on top of the other layer so that everything is covered and pressed on firmly.
  • You should now have a very sharp knife to divide this layer into two equally sized halves. Now each half is cut into approx. 1.5-2cm strips and twisted, then placed on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Baked at 180 ° for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
