Ingredients
Lay out the puff pastry on baking paper and spread:
- 50 g Puff pastry strips, e.g. cut off the edge pieces

Covering:
- 20 g Cheese slices [Gouda or Emmental]
Spices:
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Mediterranean herbs
- 1 pinch Sweet paprika
Instructions
Cheese sticks:
- Line the puff pastry strips on an oven tray with baking paper, brush with the beaten egg, cover with cheese and twist one end of each stick by 180 °, brush again from above, cover with cheese and season each stick finely to gusto. .
To bake:
- Bake until crispy at 180 ° in 8 to 15 minutes (depending on the desired degree of browning). Be careful not to turn them black !!!. The cheese can easily overflow, it comes off the baking paper easily.
