Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 12 wonton dough skins (frozen)
  • 200 g bamboo shoots (can)
  • 2 cm ginger
  • 200 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 tbsp rice wine
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce, light
  • Salt
  • Black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 3 spring onions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Party snack / finger food

Thaw the wonton. Drain the bamboo shoots thoroughly in a sieve and finely chop them, along with the peeled ginger root. Mix both with the minced meat, rice wine, and soy sauce, and season with salt, pepper, and sugar. Trim the spring onions, peel off individual leaves, and blanch them in boiling water for 1-2 minutes. Spread the minced meat mixture over the dough circles. Press each circle into a small pouch and tie with a spring onion ribbon. Steam the dim sum side by side on a plate over boiling water for about 12 minutes (place the plate on an upturned cup).
