Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 chicory, divided into individual leaves, washed, drained
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • some salt and pepper, from the mill
  • 1 tsp dill, chopped, fresh or dried
  • 1 tsp cognac

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, salt, pepper, dill, and cognac. Serve the sauce on the table, then place chicory leaves on a plate so each guest can dip them in the sauce and enjoy. Shrimp can be used instead of chicory leaves. The sauce also tastes great with a shrimp or chicken cocktail.
