- 2 kg potatoes
- 2 stalk(s) leeks
- salt and pepper
- 1 egg(s)
- 250 g dried meat
Instructions

Saarland specialty
Peel, grate, and squeeze the water out of the potatoes. Mix the egg and finely chopped leek into the potatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Cut the jerked beef into small cubes and fry in a pan. Add the potato mixture and fry. Let the pan stand on the stovetop for 30 minutes, repeatedly scraping off the crust that forms on the bottom of the pan. Serve with applesauce.
