Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 100 g margarine, melted
  • 500 g flour
  • 800 g bacon, streaky

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Beat the eggs and salt well with a mixer. Add the milk and melted margarine, then mix with the flour. Dip a tea towel into boiling water, wring it out, and place it in a bowl. Pour the dough into the tea towel and tie it loosely with string. Then boil the tea towel with the bacon for 2 hours. Serve the finished tea towel with the sliced ​​bacon. A cherry sauce is a good accompaniment. Tea towels can also be made in a baking dish, but the result is usually very dry; the tea towel will be much more moist.
