Djuvec (with Cevapcici and Ajvar)

- 2 Fresh tomatoes
- 2 Pickled peppers
- 2 Onion
- 2 Cup Long grain rice
- 7 Cup Vegetable broth hot
- 1 toe Garlic
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 3 tbsp Ajvar
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 2 Handful Peas
- Possibly Paprika powder
- 2 tbsp Chopped basil
- First, bring the vegetable stock (about 2 L) to a boil. In the meantime, you need a large saucepan in which you briefly sear 2 onions. Then chop the garlic and tomatoes and add them.
- Add 4 cup of water and bring to the boil. Put the rice and tomato paste in the saucepan and stir well. Add the peas. When the rice cooks for 5 minutes, add the ajvar. (Peppers of your choice)
- Stir well every 2-3 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Finally sprinkle the basil on the Djuvec.
