Doctors Named Foods That Should not be Reheated

Most foods are recommended to be eaten fresh or immediately after heat treatment. Many of us are used to preparing our lunch or dinner in advance, and even then, we reheat food more than three times without noticing. According to doctors, not all foods are safe to eat after reheating.

There are some foods that, due to their special molecular structure, turn into real poison after reheating.

Beets. The nitrate content of beets is good for our body, but never heat beets two or more times if you want to keep yourself healthy.

Potatoes. The starch contained in potatoes has a beneficial effect on health, but when it is heated several times, it loses its nutritional value and healing properties and turns into a poison that can harm the entire body.

Eggs. The effects of high temperatures on eggs can be quite fatal. Eating eggs after boiling is healthy – but very harmful if you reheat them the next day, doctors say.

Chicken. Chicken meat is delicious, but you should eat it immediately after cooking. Reheating chicken the next day changes the structure of the protein, which in turn leads to digestive problems. Chicken contains more protein than red meat and is recommended to be eaten cold. Even if you reheat it at a very low temperature for a longer period of time.

Mushrooms. Reheated mushrooms can have a negative impact on your body. The lipoids, phosphatides, and essential oils contained in mushrooms during repeated heat treatment make them a real “poison” and will lead to serious problems with the heart and digestive system.
