Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g chocolate (dark chocolate), melted
  • 150 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 50 g oat flakes, flower-soft
  • 30 g flour
  • 1 jar jelly (raspberry jelly)
  • 100 g marzipan paste
  • 50 g powdered sugar
  • 400 g dark chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes

For approx. 40 pieces

Beat the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs until fluffy, then add the dark chocolate and hazelnuts. Stir in the oats and flour. Spread the mixture evenly onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake on the middle rack of a preheated oven (top/bottom heat 175°C, gas mark 3, fan oven 160°C) for about 30 minutes. While still warm, spread with the raspberry jelly. Knead the marzipan mixture with the powdered sugar and roll out thinly to half the size of the dough sheet. Cover one half of the dough sheet with the marzipan, fold the other half over it, and press down firmly. Cut into cubes of about 2 cm. Melt the chocolate coating in a water bath and dip the cubes in it. If you don’t like it too grainy, omit the oats.
