Donuts – light

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 tbsp cane sugar
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 175 g flour, dark
  • 5 tsp baking powder
  • 8 tbsp oil (sunflower oil)
  • 8 tbsp yogurt (drinking yogurt)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

enough for approx. 28 pieces

Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and then slowly add the oil and yogurt. Stir constantly to create a creamy batter. Use a donut maker (similar to a waffle iron) or bake the batter in batches using a piping bag (I learned this trick from the forum: if you don’t have a piping bag, use a small plastic bottle/funnel). If you have a donut tray, grease it and bake the batter in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes. If you don’t have a donut maker or a donut tray, use 250g of flour, cut out the dough with a round cutter, and then use a small glass to make the center hole. All three versions taste very good.
