Dough for Donuts
The perfect dough for donuts recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 600 g Flour
- 4 piece Eggs
- 1 pinch Salt
- 140 g Brown sugar
- 1 pinch Cinammon
- 2 tbsp Butter at room temperature
- 160 ml Milk
- 34 g Yeast fresh
- Mix all ingredients together to form a dough. Then let the yeast dough rise for at least an hour.
- Then roll out the dough on a floured surface until it is smooth – but not too thin. Pour some more flour over the dough and cut out a donut shape using molds or glasses / beakers.
- Dust the tray with flour, place the cut donuts on top and let rise for another 20 minutes.
- Approx. Heat half a liter of oil (depending on the size of the pot) to 170 degrees. Fry the donuts in the hot oil: turn after about a minute, fry the other side for about a minute as well.
- Then place the donuts on a tray with kitchen paper and decorate with a topping such as sugar, icing or sprinkles as desired.
