Dready's cherry curd dessert

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g cream cheese
  • 1 jar cherry(s) (morello cherries)
  • some cherry juice
  • some milk
  • 4 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp Amaretto

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Place the cherries in a sieve and drain well, patting them dry with a paper towel if necessary. Retain some of the juice. Place the quark in a bowl and mix with the milk until smooth. Only use enough milk to form a smooth quark cream. Then stir in the vanilla sugar and Amaretto. Fold in the cherries, add a little juice until the quark turns light pink – done. TIPS: – You can of course use fresh cherries if they are in season. But then you should still add some cherry juice to the quark. – Also tastes delicious with peaches, bananas or strawberries. – Also suitable for children if you simply leave out the Amaretto. If necessary, replace it with almond or Amaretto syrup. – If you like, you can also add a little honey.
