Dready's toasted bread with peppers, chili cream and tomatoes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slices of toast
  • 125 g cream cheese (paprika-chili)
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • 2 tsp paprika paste
  • 4 cherry tomatoes
  • Salt
  • Lemon pepper, crushed
  • 2 tsp oregano, dried
  • 2 tsp basil, dried
  • Chili, freshly ground
  • Cheese (Emmental), grated

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Delicious and spicy starter that is also ideal as a party snack

Preheat oven to 200°C. Combine cream cheese, sour cream, and paprika in a bowl and mix well. Add spices and herbs. Wash, deseed, and dice tomatoes. Toast the toast, spread with paprika and chili cream, and arrange the diced tomatoes on top. Sprinkle a little more oregano over the top, sprinkle cheese on the diced tomatoes, and bake for about 5-7 minutes. TIPS: – Also delicious with toasted baguette. – If you like, you can also top the cream with some ham or salami. – Tastes delicious both hot and cold.
