Dried Beans with Rolled Ham and Bacon
The perfect dried beans with rolled ham and bacon recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Dried beans
- 1 piece Fresh onion
- 5 Toes Fresh garlic
- 2 liter Beef bouillon
- Savory
- Allspice grains
- Szechuan peppercorns
- Pink pepper berries
- Salt
- 1 kg Smoked ham / rolled ham
- 2 piece Bacon
- Soak dried beans in cold water overnight
- Discard the water from the dried beans.
- Sauté the onion and garlic, add the dried beans and deglaze with the boullion. Add the bacon. possibly even salts depending on taste
Spice sachets
- Savory, allspice grains, Szechuan pepper, pink pepper berries mortars and in a filter bag, preferably one for tea, tie and hang in the pan.
