Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 20 g butter
- 20 g flour
- 1 small shallot(s), finely diced
- 400 ml vegetable stock
- 100 ml white wine
- 1 tbsp mild Düsseldorf mustard
- 1 tsp horseradish, grated
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Melt the butter. Add the shallot and sauté until translucent. Add the flour and sauté lightly while stirring. Pour in the liquid, stirring constantly, and cook over low heat for about 7 minutes. Combine the mustard, horseradish, sour cream, and lemon juice and add. Season to taste and blend with an immersion blender.
