Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 125 g powdered sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 125 g butter
  • 2 pts. custard powder (bourbon vanilla)
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • ¾ liter of milk
  • 1 kg apples, cut into wedges
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 80 g sugar
  • 100 g almond flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Make a shortcrust pastry from the first 8 ingredients and place it in a greased 28 cm pan. Cook the pudding as usual with sugar and milk and mix in the apple slices. Pour the pudding and apples onto the pastry. Then melt the butter, add the honey, milk, sugar, and flaked almonds, and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Spread the mixture over the cake. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and bake the cake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
