Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 1 ½ kg schnitzel meat
- 7 tbsp oil
- 3 bell pepper(s), red
- 2 bell peppers, green
- 1 jar onion(s) (shell onions)
- 2 jars of mushrooms
- 1 can pineapple, in pieces, with juice
- 200 ml chili sauce
- 2 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 4 tbsp tomato paste
- 250 ml water
- 2 dashes of Tabasco
- Cayenne pepper
- 2 cups sour cream
- Salt and pepper, freshly ground
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
Instructions

Cut the meat into thin strips and fry in hot oil. Slice the bell pepper and add. After about 10 minutes, add the well-drained shallots and mushrooms. Add the pineapple chunks with their juice, chili sauce, paprika, tomato paste, and water, and bring to a boil. Simmer for 15 minutes. Then season with Tabasco and cayenne pepper. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and sugar. Finally, stir in the sour cream. Serve with rice or fresh white bread.
