Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 8 tbsp oil
  • 8 tbsp milk
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 400 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 egg(s), for brushing the bread
  • Raisins and poppy seeds to taste
  • n. B. egg(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix all dough ingredients one after the other until you have a smooth dough. Version 1: Braid three strands of dough into several plaits. Version 2: Place a raw egg, pierced on both sides, into each small round lump of dough. Brush the nests or plaits with the beaten egg and then decorate with poppy seeds or raisins (you can also add these to the dough), if desired. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20 minutes. Leave enough space between the dough pieces.
