  • 1 gherkin(s)
  • some Emmental cheese, grated
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • some sauce (cheddar nacho sauce)
  • 1 slice(s) of processed cheese (Chester)
  • some BBQ sauce
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Slice the onion into rings and fry in oil until soft. Fry the burger patties in a pan with a little oil over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side. Alternatively, grill them. Cook for a little longer depending on the weight and desired doneness. Turn one patty over, place a slice of Chester cheese on top, and let it melt with the lid on. Cut the burger bun in half and toast it. Spread the bottom half with dark beer mustard and top with pickle slices, then sprinkle with grated Emmental cheese. Top with a patty, braised onion rings, and a generous amount of cheddar nacho sauce. Place the second patty with the cheese slice on top, then braised onions, BBQ sauce, and a tomato slice. Place the top half of the bun on top.
