Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

for all occasions

Cut the rolled-out pizza dough into wide strips and form various shapes (rings, hearts, spirals, bows, animals, stars, Christmas trees). Let your imagination run wild. For the spiral, roll up a piece of baking paper, secure the ends with paper clips, and wrap the strip of dough around the roll. Place the shapes on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Mix tomato puree with white wine, brush the shapes with it, and then sprinkle with thyme. Alternatively, use pesto or olive paste. Whatever you like. Bake the shapes for about 15 minutes at 200°C (400°F), remove from the oven, and let cool. The shapes can also be made ahead; they can be stored in a tightly sealed container for up to 1 day.
