Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 15 elderflower umbels
  • 20 g citric acid
  • 1 liter of water
  • 500 g rock sugar
  • 1 bottle of schnapps (corn)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 30 minutes

Pour the water and citric acid over the elderflower heads. Let stand for 24 hours. Strain through a cheesecloth and place in a saucepan. Heat with the rock sugar until dissolved. Add 1 bottle of Korn. Pour into suitable, prepared bottles and seal. The mixture will keep refrigerated for approximately 4-6 weeks.
