Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 200 g meat sausage
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), yellow
  • 1 liter of water, hot
  • 1 tbsp beef broth, instant
  • 1 tbsp broth (deli broth), instant
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet or hot
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • e.g. crème fraîche
  • e.g. bread(s), fresh

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

simple, fast and affordable

Slice the onions and fry them in a little oil along with the diced ham. Peel and dice the potatoes, add them, and fry them briefly. Cut the bell peppers into thin strips and add them. Cut the bologna into thin slices, halving them first if necessary, and add them at the end and fry briefly. Deglaze with at least 1 liter of hot water. Add the tomato paste, instant stock, and paprika, and bring to a boil briefly. Season with salt, pepper, and oregano, and simmer over low heat for about 15-20 minutes. Serve with crème fraîche and bread. Can be varied as desired with minced meat, diced meat, vegetables, or to use up leftovers.
