Marinade for poultry, e.g. turkey

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 small can of pineapple pieces
  • 1 tsp orange peel, untreated, grated
  • 6 tbsp sherry
  • 2 tbsp, leveled soy sauce
  • 1 chili pepper(s), cut into pieces
  • 300 g turkey schnitzel or chicken breast, cut into strips
  • some pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

hot stone etc.

Drain the pineapple and reserve the juice. Make a marinade with 1 tablespoon of the juice, a few pineapple chunks, and the remaining ingredients. If you don’t like it spicy, you can omit the chili pepper. Marinate the meat for at least 1 hour. Stir frequently during this time, otherwise some pieces of meat will be spicy and others not. Drain the sauce and serve it with the meat in small bowls, as desired. The remaining pineapple chunks can either be fried with the meat or saved for dessert. Fresh pineapple works too, of course.
