Using up leftover grated cheese

Heat a pan, preferably a nonstick pan. Add the grated cheese and wine to the hot pan and melt the cheese, stirring constantly (very important!). Continue stirring until the wine has completely evaporated and the cheese has become a smooth cream. Spread the cheese cream onto a sliced ​​baguette or slightly thicker slices of rye bread and sprinkle with paprika, if desired.
