Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g butter, soft
  • 50 g margarine
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • ½ tsp butter-vanilla flavoring
  • 150 g flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp instant espresso coffee
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp baking soda, alternatively baking powder
  • 100 g walnuts, chopped
  • 100 g chocolate (semi-sweet), chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cream together the butter and margarine. Add both sugars and mix well. Add the egg and vanilla extract. Combine the dry ingredients, add them to the butter mixture, and mix well. Fold in the walnuts and chocolate. Scoop out heaped teaspoons of dough and place them 5 cm apart on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for approximately 8 to 10 minutes.
