Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 100 g butter
- 150 g breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 eggs

Melt the butter in a saucepan and let it cool slightly. Whisk the eggs and mix with the butter. Add salt and pepper. Thicken with the breadcrumbs until a slightly firmer mixture forms. Form them into small dumplings. Let them simmer in the broth for about 10 minutes. This amount makes about 24 dumplings, which can also be frozen without pre-cooking, so they can be portioned out as needed. I estimate 3-4 dumplings per person.
